FHA has been discussing its plan to reduce seller concessions to 3% for several months. In January they pointed to the summer as the timeframe for implementing this change.

And last week FHA announced the start of its comment period regarding the change. The comment period is only 30 days.

There are additional FHA changes included in the comment period, but the change to seller concessions has by far the most significant impact.
